AI Enablement Specialist

 

The AI Enablement Specialist will be part of a team that will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining knowledge-sharing programs on AI (including generative AI, analytics, and automation) concepts, tools, resources, data platform, and processes. The Specialist will possess a deep understanding of technical AI concepts and the ability to translate complex information into engaging and easily understandable training and enablement programs. The Specialist will collaborate with AI SMEs in developing learning “toolkits” and delivery programs to enable analysts and business users throughout the company to develop AI solutions that leverage the AI teams’ platform, processes, and tools. The Specialist will work directly with business customers in understanding their requirements and providing demos and guidance on the use of AI technologies and techniques that will enable the customers to implement their own AI solutions. The Specialist will also contribute to the continuous improvement of training and customer engagement programs by evaluating, improving, and reporting on the effectiveness of knowledge-sharing and customer engagement programs.

JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Collaborate with analytics teams and their business customers to identify and assess opportunities to leverage AI platform, tools, and processes.
  • Partner with SMEs in designing and delivering knowledge-sharing content such as training materials, quick-start guides, toolkits, and product demos.
  • Partner with SMEs to maintain a standard “company approved” set of AI tools that may be used by employees across the company.
  • Help employees learn how to access standard “company approved” AI tools.
  • Support a community of AI practitioners to facilitate sharing of knowledge and capabilities throughout the company.
  • Provide guidance to business users developing their own AI solutions on the use of AI tools, processes, and platform.
  • Collaborate with other technical professionals to identify emerging technologies and trends and incorporate them into training programs and knowledge-sharing initiatives.
  • Identify and implement knowledge-sharing platform and tools.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of knowledge-sharing programs through feedback surveys, performance assessments, and post-engagement evaluations.
  • Track and measure the impact of knowledge-sharing programs on individual and team performance towards achievement of business goals.
  • Stay up to date on AI industry developments, tools, and techniques.
  • Manage and maintain training records and documentation.
  • Provide training in classroom and virtual environments.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Minimum education required of the position.

Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, business administration, or a related field

Minimum experience required of the position.

  • Specialist III:
    • 4+ years of professional experience,
    • Highly Desired: at least 2+ years of experience in a software, data science, machine learning, or automation engineering role.
  • Specialist, Sr:
    • 6+ years of professional experience,
    • Highly Desired: at least 3 years of experience in a software, data science, machine learning, or automation engineering role.
  • Specialist, Sr Lead:
    • 8+ years of professional experience,
    • Highly Desired: at least 4+ years of experience in a software, data science, machine learning, or automation engineering role.
  • Proven track record of providing customer service, consulting, or training on the use of software tools and processes to solve business problems.
  • Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear and understandable language.
  • Experience with a variety of instructional methodologies, including hands-on activities and simulations, and tools.
  • Familiarity with software development processes and tools

Minimum knowledge, skills and abilities required of the position.

  • Passion for technology and a willingness to stay up to date on emerging technologies, trends, and processes.
  • Familiarity with knowledge-sharing platforms and tools.
  • Familiarity with AI and machine learning principles.
  • Familiarity with cloud-based data and computing platforms.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with energy and utility industry preferred.
