Job Summary:

For the right candidate, this is an opportunity to be an operating partner with a growing organization, The Cassidy Mind and Body Institute, a comprehensive private pay health care organization whose mission is to “Elevate Patients and Practitioners”. We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Outpatient Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)/ Partners for our Tampa and Sarasota Offices. Successful candidates will be established in their local market (know people that will help them with referrals, etc.). This position offers highly competitive compensation including the opportunity for wealth creation as the practice grows. As part of our team, you’ll have immediate access to a network of Therapists, Psychologists and a team of collaborative Psychiatrists and other Nurse Practitioners.  

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct psychiatric evaluations and assessments for patients across the lifespan.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
Prescribe and manage medications, including monitoring for side effects and efficacy.
Provide psychotherapy and counseling to patients as needed.
Collaborate with other healthcare providers, including psychiatrists, psychologists, therapists, and primary care physicians, to ensure comprehensive care.
Educate patients and families about mental health conditions, treatment options, and preventative measures.
Stay current with best practices and advancements in psychiatric care.

Qualifications:

Master’s or Doctoral degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
Board certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP).
Preferably designated as a Psychiatric Nurse by the State of Florida
Current, unrestricted license to practice as a PMHNP in the state of Florida.
DEA registration and prescriptive authority.
Preferably 2 years post graduate experience
Strong clinical skills and knowledge of psychopharmacology.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered care.
