Job Summary

United Airlines is seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused individuals to join our team as Flight Attendant Trainees. As a Flight Attendant Trainee, you will receive comprehensive training to deliver exceptional customer service and ensure the safety and well-being of passengers during their flight experience. Key Responsibilities

  • Participate in a structured training program that covers airline safety procedures, customer service expectations, emergency response protocols, and flight operations.
  • Learn to deliver safety demonstrations and assist passengers with safety instructions.
  • Maintain high standards of service while attending to passenger needs, including providing food, beverages, and ensuring their comfort during flights.
  • Handle in-flight emergencies, including medical situations, fires, and evacuations, according to established protocols.
  • Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the cabin before, during, and after each flight.
  • Collaborate with other flight crew members and airline personnel to ensure smooth flight operations.
  • Assist passengers with special needs, including the elderly, children, and individuals with disabilities.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor while adhering to United Airlines grooming standards.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in hospitality or customer service is a plus.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work well in a team environment.
  • Ability to remain calm and effective during emergencies or stressful situations.
  • Flexibility to work varied hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as flight schedules may require.
  • Must be at least 21 years old by the start of training.
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
  • Excellent customer service skills and a passion for helping others.
  • Physical ability to lift and carry heavy items, assist passengers in an emergency, and endure long hours of standing, walking, or sitting.
  • Willingness to relocate if necessary, as some assignments may require travel to different airports or locations.
