BAM Virtual Bookkeeping provides professional and reliable bookkeeping services for businesses, helping them stay organized and compliant. We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Bookkeeping Assistant to join our team remotely.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with filing prevailing wage documentation
  • Support with bookkeeping cleanup tasks
  • Maintain general ledger entries & reconcile company bank accounts
  • Process invoices and track expenses
  • Assist with tax preparation
  • Handle general administrative and bookkeeping duties as needed

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Accounting or related experience
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel
  • Familiarity with basic accounting principles
  • Competent in basic math and data entry
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with payroll processing
  • Knowledge of business tax law (active PTIN a plus)
  • Education in a related field
